Location
This shot was taken at Inverness, Scotland, by the shore of Loch Ness at The Dores Inn.Time
It was on a misty, hazy morning in spring 2011 on one of our excursions with the LightBox photography society from Alicante, Spain.Lighting
The lighting was not perfect, by far, but the combination of the sparse light, the fog and the tranquility of the lake at that moment made it just perfect for a negative space composition.Equipment
No tripod, no flash, no filters, just my old Nikon D90 with the standard 18-105 lens.Inspiration
The tranquility, the shear beauty and magnitude of the loch and the wooden poles that seem to have been there since the beginning of time.Editing
The original photo was in colour but I converted it in to B&W withs some post-processing using NIK Silver Effex. In my camera bag
My Nikon D90, my Sony a6000 and my iPhone 6.Feedback
Grasp the moment :-)
