Image 3-4 in my Quod me Nutrit, me Destruit series. This is the most recent image in this project series, the fourth shot is still very much a conceptual work in progress. Of the existing three, this one is my favorite photo (the second one is the closest to my soul, but I think this is my best shot so far. Like, possibly ever.) Lacking a tripod at the time (Actually I still only have a tabletop one, I really need to get a full size; I think the fourth shot is going to demand it.) I had a very hard time setting this picture up. I took about 300 shots in various poses and forms before attempting to use the capo to clip back the "garrote guitar strings" my intent was to keep them loose and fix it in editing, but I slipped, and nearly choked myself while shooting this one. Maybe that's why I think it's the best shot of the three - the emotion is raw and real, I was home alone, and it was like, 4am. If my hand hadn't been there, I might've killed myself for this one guys!
