This photo was taken in my former Studio location – an old machine factory.Time
It was taken around 2 p.m., it was a cold and rainy day. So you know where the title comes from :)Lighting
It's just natural light from the Window behind her. Due to the bad weather conditions, the soft light helped here.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D810 with the AF-S 85mm f/1.8G – my favourite lens.Inspiration
It was inspired by the model. She asked me, to take some photos on the window ledge. We tried some different poses and this is result, we are both proud of :)Editing
Some steps in Lightroom for W/B and base tonal corrections. Only some correction on skin parts in Photoshop and the final b/w conversion with Alienskin Exposure.In my camera bag
Two camera bodies (Nikon D700, and Nikon D810), three prime lenses (AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G, AF-S Nikkor 85mm f/1.8G, and Sigma 35 f.1/4 DG HSM). Some stuff, you can'l live without it: Rocket Blower, Grey Cards, etc.Feedback
This image lives from the soft light. It illuminates details of her body in a great way. So watch out for soft light, a good angle and try several poses.
