Another shot of this incredible sunset at Kerkyra, Corfu, as the sun sunk further so the clouds came alive.

One word.. WOW!! This was one occasion that caught me out totally. But, I had the camera to hand and went to town t ocapture all I could due to the ever changing light. With the sun so low in the distance I knew I would get a stack of images with the lower cloud areas being illuminated, I had no idea just how vivid it would be.Equipment
Canon 60D, Lenses: Canon 40mm f2.8 @ f11, Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 @ f11, Canon 55-250mm at 100mm f11.Inspiration
After finishing a long day shooting around Kerkyra I was on my way back to the hotel for the evening. I turned a corner and WOW, this was the scene, I could not beleive it. To add to the excitment right in front of me was a parking space, within seconds I was out of the car taking shots of this most incredible sunset. I took a lot of shots as 5 shot bracketed for HDR as well as using different lenses to focus on various subjects around the bay.Editing
This image compiled using Photomatix Pro and finished in Photoshop although not a lot of editing was required. In my camera bag
Camera's: Canon 60D, Canon 5Dmk3 (New). Lenses: Canon 40mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8, 18-55mm f5.6 (kit), 55-250mm f4 zoom, Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 Wide Angle. Various filters, remote trigger.Feedback
All I can say is be ready for anything. And make sure you have a spare SD card as well, I filled a 64gb card up during the sequence of shots, although I had been shooting images all day around Kerkyra. I had a 32gb spare with me so I did not lose this opportunity. I was not expecting to come into this at all so had to do what I could at the time to capture as much as possible prior to it getting too dark. Enjoy the moment, have fun and do not panic, try to use as slow an aperture as possible to capture as much detail and give some incredible depth of field. If bracketing for HDR take the aperture up to f10 or 11 allowing for the slower shutter speeds that are needed.
