This one's close to my heart...It was a Blizzard that left us stranded in 18 inches of Snow..he along with us waited patiently keeping a close eye..

Location
I took this photo in Mukteshwar, a hill station in the state of Uttarakhand, India some 350 kilometres up north from New Delhi. The resort in which I stayed had two Himalayan dogs - one of them sat in front of our cottage while it was snowing heavily. He was very friendly and kept on sitting there.Time
I captured this pic somewhere around 3:30 PM. It was already an hour since it started snowing and it only got heavier.Lighting
I think the natural set up of lighting itself was perfect. The dog being black and the snow being white. It gave me a perfect setting and I think I didn't require to set-up or adjust any special lighting.Equipment
I am an amateur photographer and still learning myself. So I do not use high-end DSLRs but yeah I clicked this pic using an Apple iPhone. I now use a Samsung Galaxy A51 and also carry a Sony HX1. As I mentioned I didn't require any special tools or equipments as the scene was set-up by nature itself.Inspiration
I love to live in the lap of Mother Nature and that's also the reason I love to go on road trips. Here it was a simple Himalayan dog - so friendly, so sensitive that I named him as the "Guest Relationship Manager" of the resort we stayed in. The resort was spread across the hilly cliff with cottages up and down. There was no electricity as the town was pounded by snow blizzard. But here it was, seated there, waited there and moved only when I was supposed to go to the resort's restaurant which was located up on the hill. I felt that a dog is truly the man's best friendEditing

India is a land of diverse geographical terrains. Travel up-north you can come face to face with the "Mighty Himalayas", navigate through a matrix of beautiful hill stations, travel East or West you come to see beautiful coastal lines, pristine beaches and you travel south for rich green reserves, tea plantations and confluence of three seas - Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. The weather varies from being sub-zero to scorching sun. We call it Incredible India or Incredible Indiyeah!
