Location
Mumbai - the city of dreams in India. I captured this shot at the Worli Sea Face promenade in Mumbai. The road from here extends all the way to the famous Marine Drive which is also known as the Necklace Road. The promenade has a raised platform where people can sit and view the seamless expanse of Arabian Sea. Feel the breeze from the sea and steal those special "We" moments.Time
I was walking through the promenade leisurely, with air ruffling my hair. There were hundreds of couples seated on the platform facing the sea with barely inches in between. Hand in hand, lost in each other. Chit chatting discussing the matters of heart. It was about 4:30 PM in the evening as the Sun on India's West coast was still high, playing hide and seek with the cotton clouds when I caught eye on this couple who was sitting quite a distant from the other hundred couples. Aloof from the crowd they were lost into each other.Lighting
Mumbai being the coastal city of India, located on West Coast the sun sets little later than the rest of India. But with clouds playing hide and seek, the light was just apt to capture the silhouette.Equipment
I simply used an iPhone !Inspiration
I think the caption given to the pic is answer behind the inspiration. "Falling in Love" So "Love" between two souls, that bond, that warmth and trust and reliance and hope for a life together - these all were the inspiration behind taking this photo. Love knows no language, no boundaries, no religion and I think the pic depicts allEditing
I just grey-scaled the pic. Because I think it takes us back to the era of unconditional love and belonging. Also, I believe it gave the picture - the effect of time standing still between the two love birds. In my camera bag
Normally, I carry my phone which is an iPhone 7. (Planning to upgrade the same since long time now). Besides, I carry a Sony HX1Feedback
All I want to say is try to find and capture moments like these around you. Pictures like these can spread the message of love and warmth in the times of hate!
