Indeed a wonderful photo. The top of the stairs (i think you looked up) look like a lamp on top...that spot should be lit for a even better effect, not too bright of course :)

What a great image - your pov is alluring and perfect achieving both interest and amazement as the stairs resemble a light bulb. Awesome creativity

I admire the people designing these wonderful staircases and admire photographers enjoying them, finding different perspectives to show them off even better.

This is a really neat shot! Looks like a path to engineering on a space station. Love the lighting!

Location
This shot was taken in a museum in Prague. The building is beautiful and the artwork fantastic. I had to search for the stair as I had seen it before in photos and didn't realize the size of it until I found it.Time
This was taken late at night near closing time which made for very little traffic on the stair and I didn't have to fight any other photographers for the very small space.Lighting
This was taken during the evening hours and the light bulb was not allowing any light to penetrate through the glass. This was a little different than any other shot I have seen of the Light Bulb Staircase and I found that it was unique because of the lighting.Equipment
Canon 5D Mark III with Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L lens. No tripod. The camera body was laid on the ground the the shutter was released from the finger shutter release.Inspiration
I'm always inspired by amazing architecture and I want to do everything possible to celebrate that creative vision that the architects and craftsman were feeling when they dreamt about the design and when the crafted the final product.Editing
One of the things I did during this shot was I had to flip it over because in order to capture this you only have a very small limited space so I had to mirror the whole shot. Other than that it was mainly adjusting the highlights and the shadows and some minor touch ups on the exposure. In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mark IV; Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L; Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L; Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L; Sigma 50mm f/1.4; Canon 2x Extender III; Canon 24-105mm f/4 L; Canon 100mm f/2.8 LFeedback
This is always a great reminder that when you are shooting that you need to be looking up! You never know where the most stunning of details lie in a work of art envisioned through the creative minds of architects! Bravo! You should go and look for this while you are in beautiful Prague!
