The photo was taken while paddling my favorite river...the Musconetcong. I headed out for an early morning Thanksgiving Day paddle under snowy conditions. This is about a mile upstream from the launch and the snow stopped. This is a nice bend in the river with some large pine trees on the river bank.Time

At the time of this photo I was using a point and shoot Panasonic TS1.Inspiration
The snow covered trees and glassy waters seemed like a good pallet with the splash of red from my kayak. Paddling in winter conditions adds a different element to my paddling experience and this photo captures that experience.Editing

I always travel with my Fuji PinePix S1. This has been a great addition to my camera equipment. It is a water resistant cross over superzoom camera.Feedback
Always have your camera with you and ready for anything. You never know whats coming around the bend in the river or around the corner on the next street. That one in a million photo opportunity could be right in front of you.
