Thank you! This is where we go to recover from the rat race of life.

Location
This photo was taken near Coldwater, Ontario during a trip back to the main dock.Time
This was our final goodbye view of paradise for this specific trip to the cottage. I hate being over the water at the best of times and this spectacular view eased my anxiety and allowed for that last breath of peace and tranquility to stick a little longer. The sun was going down and there was a slight evening chill. A bit of spray back from the boat but mother natures artwork made it still feel warm.Lighting
I really can not offer any more about the lighting other than natures own evening dimming. I have not gone through any classes and basically just play with settings as I go.Equipment
I had no equipment other than the camera in hand as I sat in the middle of a small aluminum boat. They did stop the boat for me to capture this image thankfully though. I believe this was taken with an old Kodak camera but may have been my new to me Canon EOS Rebel T4iInspiration
In all honesty I simply have a camera with me most of the time. This trip was was a much needed break from the rat race and I wanted to capture every bit I could to share with family and friends. Beautiful sunsets bring peace and comfort to myself and inspires one to push forward for another day. It reminds one that the day may get hard but getting through till the end provides rewards if you take the time to sit back and look quietly at ones surroundings.Editing
At the time I took this shot I still had absolutely no idea on how to do anything with my images. I may have figured something out but do not recall, sorry. In my camera bag
I generally have my canon EOS Rebel T4i with an 18 - 55 attached and a 55 - 250 in the bag. I keep an extra battery in the bag as well. I am pretty simple when it comes to accessories. I would not have a clue how to use anything else.Feedback
The only advice I can give is to have fun with it. I will never make money myself but I do enjoy the thrill of capturing something as beautiful as I feel this shot is.
