Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a garden show, with a group of other photographers honing our skills in macro photography. This was such a great experience to hone my skills and learn a new technique.

Time

This photo was taking in the middle of the day.

Lighting

This photo was taken with all natural light during the day.

Equipment

This shot was taken with a canon camera with a macro lens, no flash and no tripod.

Inspiration

I was at a garden show practicing my macro photography and it was a beautiful flower and I loved the way it looked so I took a photo of it.

Editing

I didn’t do much post processing of this photo.

In my camera bag

I have a canon 5D mark 4, with a variety of lenses ranging from a 50mm to a 85mm and more. I usually always have camera cleaning products to make sure my equipment remains clean and ready to use. I also keep SD card holder with spare SD cards in case my cards are full. That’s what’s in my bag.

Feedback

Don’t be afraid to try different things, settings and angles. Get close see things from a different perspective and a whole world will open up.
