Photography should tell a story. This definitely does. And with lots of emotion.

Location
The photograph was taken just after sunset in a park from Bucharest.Time
It was just after sunset, blue hour. The trees made it look darker than it actually was.Lighting
The lighting, well.. it was natural lighting. We finished the shooting and we were heading home. On the path to get outside the park there was this mysterious man selling popcorn. My model passed near him and i saw the picture. I told her to come back and stare at him, pretend shes interested and took a few quick shots. The lighting was too great to miss.Equipment
I used a handheld Nikon d610 and a fixed 85mm (i think) - nothing else.Inspiration
It was spontaneous inspiration. I saw the picture of her passing by and immediately wanted to take THAT photograph. Now the dress, and the flowers, and the popcorn was just wild luck which contributed into making it into a story in the "woods" with the mysterious man in the darkEditing
I have indeed done some post-processing - even though i had time to take a few shots, the composition wasnt quite what i wanted so i cropped the picture almost square and added more background to the top of the photograph. Besides that, i removed some text from the man's popcorn machine so it would look more wild and other color adjustments and minor processing. In my camera bag
I usually carry my d610 with two fixed lenses, 50mm and 85mm. Sometimes i get a tripod, a reflector, maybe some flashguns, lightstands and softboxes, depending of what im trying to achieve.Feedback
If anyone wants to capture anything similar; firstly find a model which you can relate to and become friends, cooperate and work good together; secondly you need to think of a story you want your model to enter (Clothes, accessories, etc) and third but not least find a fitting place, background and lightwise. After you've checked all three of these, you can PLAY and EXPERIMENT together. This type of photography SHOULD be fun!
