This brick home in Panguitch, Utah is in excellent repair and has a most outstanding ornamental roof cresting. These were a common sight in the late nineteenth century. The crest on every roof, the crown on every cupola or widow's walk, these decorative appointments commanded the eye skyward as does this one. They were the architectural finishing touch in an era obsessed with detail.
