triangle, the point of view, the depth of field, and the shadows on the leaves. You create a lovely sense of emotion within the shot which causes your viewer to wonder what the small plant will grow...

into. You capture the challenge theme well - it is definitely small, but mighty. Very nice work.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in a nearby forest close to my home, on my daily evening walk with my best friend and dog Loki.

Time

In the evening a couple of hours before sunset.

Lighting

Yea I underexposed by 2 stops and used a single off camera flash to light the tree.

Equipment

I used my Canon EOS 7D on a tripod with a Aputure Trigmaster Plus to set off my manual Yongnuo YN-560 II .

Inspiration

Life.

Editing

Not much I shoot in raw so every photo gets a trip trough Lightroom and Photoshop, where they get some subtle sharpening, a little contrast an white balance correction if needed.

In my camera bag

My camera, Tripod A good range of lenses from 8mm and up to 200mm, flashguns and remote triggers.

Feedback

These little trees start growing in the beginning of March so to capture photos like these you just have to walk around in the woods. keep a close eye after small open areas where they tend to grow.
