Behind The Lens

Location

We have a variety of bird feeders outside of the kitchen window in Kansas City, MO. I was surprised to see this Baltimore Oriole enjoying the Hummingbird feeder.

Time

Birds are most active here in the morning hours. This was about 8am.

Lighting

The area is shaded most of the day by the house and by trees.

Equipment

The camera used was a Nikon D5100 with a Tamron 150-600mm lens.

Inspiration

It was unusual to see an Oriole at a hummingbird feeder, although we do see them in the trees in springtime.

Editing

No post processing.
