Location
This photo was taken at the back Garden, as i knew there was a couple of birds built up the home for a new members.Time
As i was remember, i was a hot day early afternoon,i heard lot of noise as i was doing a gardening, and i saw mother bird trying to feed the young. This is a good opportunity to take some shoots.Lighting
This was afternoon light, the ambient very intense, the shot was taken under the foliage of the tree. illuminated surrounding enough for this shot.Equipment
I have Nikon d8oo,with 105mm f2.8 Macro G lense on , this one of my favor set up for a shallow DOF , because of clarity of the lense i always have it on my camera.Inspiration
what inspired me on the shot, the colours, the textures, the nature of our beautiful planet,as i always love macro the Hidden treasure of colour, Texture, shapes, forms, and lines.....Editing
This shot was taken with the setting picture control- landscape, white balances was set to -Autos the post-procesing in light room on contrast, saturation, clarity, and vignetting, then cropped in square the because of the composition. i exported to Photoshop just increase a bit of contrast on layer overlay. and removed unwanted distraction..In my camera bag
The equipment i carried in my bag was as usual are one camera body Nikon D800, 105mm macro f2.8 G, 24-70mm f2.8, and 70-200mm f2,8 with a few filter Hoya nd400, Hoya nd8, circular pl,also the shutter release, also a good steady Tripod.Feedback
My advice on capture similar shot are, always think of the composition, make sure there is a clear center of interest, as in this picture was a middle chic. Try to see the light and shade, shape by squint your eye. this is always work for me, A macro Lense, would be perfect for this shot because a Dof to maximize the isolation by blurring the the supporting elements and concentrated on the focal point. (point of interest)
