Behind The Lens

Location
this one of the Bridal shoot taken in the hall way, to get maximum effect light wrapping the subject,,,
Time
our great hair make up artist Stella arrived around 10am and finished at 11:30am it was a sunny day...
Lighting
This is a one light set up, the set up in the hallway.consist of strobe with the modifier set behind big scrim , the Subject is stand in front of the big scrim, the subject is light up by the light bouncing from the wall of the hall, boxing the subject with light .
Equipment
This shot i did indoor with a 600watts strobe,and reflector, scrim, with my D800 on 105mmm macro at f4.5 iso50 1/150sec...
Inspiration
the shot inspired me because of the subject beautiful white dress , and Michael Zelbel technique of Boxing a subject with one light, it
Editing
the shot imported in LR increase shadow lightness and contrast, and convert black and white, and PS to a bit skin retouch..
In my camera bag
The Equipments in my bag are D800 body,nikon 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8, and 105mm macro f2.8 polarize filter, nd8,and nd400 filters ...
Feedback
I love shooting back light , this is a simple technique that i find less resource but very Effective, boxing the subject and let the light Wrap around the subject by Bouncing the light through the walls and reflector, this is a high key and Ethereal look...:-)with only one light.
