Location
This photo was taken in the park 5minutes from studio set up , natural out door back lit shoot .Time
It was an afternoon with strong wind, planing to shoot Suzanne in door but after 45 minutes we want to try out door it was around 2s Pm as the weather warm up.Lighting
the sun was bright and it was a 45 degree , it was a good enough to shoot back light , so i placed Suzanne half in the shade with darker background as her back facing the sun with her amazing Blond hair... as the afternoon wind catching her hair the shutter is counting after 10s frame we got the shot.Equipment
i used D800 with 85mm at f2.2 for this shot..Inspiration
i inspired a few photographers who have captured the dynamic movement of the hair , hair is order out of chaos as the wind pick up a place them randomly on the face ... to capture when they are at the best position.Editing
i used LR adjust contrast, pull back the highlight , Ps to clean up a bit of skin as well as convert to black and white. In my camera bag
The equipment that always in my bag when doing portraits are My D800 , 85mm f1.8, 105mm f2.8, 24-70 f2.8 also 70-200mm f 2.8 with CPL and Nd8 filter...Feedback
To do a similar shot the subject have to be back lit, and light colour hair ,the subject have to be position in darker background. to get glow effect.
