Location
On a side street near my inlaws house.Time
Right at sunset. Did some portrait shots before sun went down and then grabbed this when we were leaving.Lighting
The Florida sunsets really are beautiful which provided all the perfect natural backlight hereEquipment
Canon 40D (I need a major upgrade) with a Tamron 17-50mm 2.8Inspiration
The sunset really was beautiful and I loved the urban feel of the road. The cup in hand just added to the mystery of what was happening in the photo.Editing
Little if any at all, I prefer to do no post if I can get away with it.In my camera bag
Canon 40D, Tamron 17-50mm 2.8, Sigma 30mm 1.4. About it besides randomness like CF cars, lens cleaner, etc.Feedback
Wait for that perfect sunset and do something different with subjects. I really like the foreground of the cup and model and then the light poles in the distance. Stopping down the f stop or shutter to get the subjects dark enough is really the biggest key. But as always just have fun, take pictures the way you like and with subjects you like; you will be surprised to find that others like them too!!!! That you for liking my photo, I am completely honored and humbled.
