This was taken right on my computer desk in my master bedroom. I loved the grain of the wood so that’s why I chose it and didn’t really need to move the desk anywhere for this shot.Time
This was the middle of the day. When I just invisioned making the shot I just set it all up.Lighting
It’s really simple... I used a desk lamp with a small incandescent bulb to give it that old feel and color tone.Equipment
This was shot with my Canon 40D and a Sigma 30mm 1.4. Aperture was set at f/8.0, ISO 100 and handheld the camera.Inspiration
A friend of mine gave this Kodak to me as a gift. I was so shocked and blown away that he would do that, was just extremely grateful. It still sits on a shelf in my living room because I love it’s apperan so much. With that I wanted to capture a photo that gave the camera a timeless and aged feel. Like looking at old pictures your grandparents may have taken years ago.Editing

As my friends would say... a much needed upgrade. That looks like a Canon 40D, Sigma 30mm 1.4, Tamron 17-50mm 2.8, a couple CF cards, lens cleaner and maybe a reflector I hardly use.Feedback
Shoot what you like and don’t over complicate lighting and processing. Take time to setup your shot and get all the details just as you like before pressing the shutter button. I truly love this shot, it’s for myself... I am humbled and honored that anyone else even likes it. And if you ever want anymore details than that reach out to me, the ViewBug community is a greatly place to be and share with others. Thanks again for liking my photo.
