The rapid flow of these falls in Quechee, Vermont provides the power to run the furnaces for the glass works located nearby. The Quechee bridge was recently rebuilt after tropical storm, Sandy destroyed the old one a few years ago. This photo was taken with much of the falls frozen in splendor.
