Behind The Lens

Location

was driving into Yellowstone park and this pronghorn was several yards off the road.

Time

was about midmorning and several pronghorns in the group.

Lighting

just normal morning light

Equipment

was using a Canon 70D and a Tamron 150x600.

Inspiration

a small band of pronghorns were together and this one seemed to be a best foreground and background combination.

Editing

did a bit of sharpening

In my camera bag

usually now take a Canon 90D with either a Canon 100x400 or the Tamron 150-600.

Feedback

go to where you can find the subjects of interest and be patient. wildlife photography requires a significant amount of time waiting for the subject to move to the best spot.
