As with other's, this is one of my favorite! It's unique in that rarely do we see the absolute resourcefulness of these wild birds! And if they could they would thank man for his role in facilitating availability of it's needs! Jerry

Thank you Lamarh, for your kind comments as well. Thank you so much, for taking a look at my portfolio. I love trying to look at things just a little differently. Sometimes I succeed, and sometimes I fail spectacularly, but I have a great time trying to get it right. Am still fairly new to this medium, so realize there is a lot of room for improvement. 😊🌺

Location
Photo was taken at the Gilbert Arizona riparian area.Time
morning at almost 9 AMLighting
cloudy dayEquipment
Canon 40D with Canon 100-400mm lens. taken at 400mm. no tripod or flash. hand held.Inspiration
Inspired to take this photo just because this finch was drinking from this faucet. Was fascinated by the resourcefulness of this little bird and the interesting position of his feet as he hung on.Editing
did a little sharpening and color enhancement. just wished I had used a faster shutter speed. In my camera bag
normally have a Canon 70D, Sigma 28-70 f2.8 lens, Tamron 150-600mm and a Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens. Have a 1.4 extenderFeedback
only advise I could give is make sure shutter speed is faster and then be fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time.
