Since the zoo opens at 9 am, this would have been shot mid morning

shot with natural sunlight

Shot with Canon 7d with a 70-200 L with a 2x extender attached on a monopod
Inspiration
I love the baby giraffes, what drew me to this shot was the shapes and textures
Editing
Yes I decided that a sepia inspired black and white fit the image best

My camera, a long lens with extender and a street style lens 24-135
Feedback
patience and watching for shapes and things of interest. When shooting at a zoo, I like to keep an eye open for something that I haven't shot before
