Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Little Rock Zoo

Time

11:34 AM

Lighting

All natural light

Equipment

Canon 40D Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L lens, manfrotto monopod

Inspiration

in the majority of my visits to the zoo, the Warthogs, are either not out or just laying down. The had been rooting around in the leaves, and when I had both of them looking at me, I knew I had to get them. Most of the other photos I have are just of one of the warthogs. In my trips back to the zoo, since them, I have not seen both of them up and active at the same time.

Editing

Levels adjustment, crop,and sharpening

In my camera bag

I now have a canon 7d, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L and a 2x extender. extra battery and CF cards, Canon 28-135mm

Feedback

When shooting animals patience and some type of contact, I usually wait for eye contact, though occasionally, if I get a strong emotion from what I am looking at, then I do not worry about eye contact.
