Location
My Mom was working the horses in the arena at their home and I was watching and experimenting with my camera and shutter speeds and panning. The horse running is very near me only the arena fence is between us.Time
This was shot around 7:15 pm in the summer when the days are longer and I am able to shoot after a day of workLighting

I was inspired by movement, I was wanted the image to be ghost like and show the beauty of the horses mane flyingEditing

For me the best advice I can give when shooting something like this is to experiment with different shutter speeds, until you achieve the look you want and then have fun shooting. Since I was panning, I may have been using a monopod or had my elbows on the fence for stability while panning.
