Midnight Train to New York

I have imagined this shot for a while now and since I was out last night I figured I'd give it a try. Of course, I arrived a little late and just missed the southbound express so I had to wait around for an hour for the next one. I passed the time trying out different compositions and chatted with late night commuters. Finally, the next southbound express was coming. I only had one shot at this since the next train was an hour later and if I miss timed it I'd have to come back another day. I pressed the shutter and hoped it would work out. Luckilly it did. I got the ghostly train trails and it was transparent enought to see the building on the other side. And I was lucky in that my shutter was just long enough to capture the train till it was just about out of sight. Enjoy!
