What do you use for post production? I am a pseudo purist but feel I must start embracing PP if I want to stay viable. Trust, I have toyed with the idea of going back to film! I miss film.

I will be in Chicago Saturday to shoot a gig! I love your great city; I have family there and get to visit often. FYI: There is a fun event going on at Montrose Beach, Whisky, Wine and Swine.

Your work is great. I like how you use all the tools. I really enjoy the results but have no aptitude or desire for photo manipulation outside of the lab. I am just waiting for 35mm film to come back in Vogue. LOL
Happy Snapping!

Behind The Lens

Location
From the Sydeck of the Willis Tower Chicago, IL
Time
Late afternoon.
Lighting
Take a shot like this with no sun hitting the glass, and place the lens as close as possible to the window to minimize reflections.
Equipment
Nikon D700 with Nikon 16mm f/2.8 fisheye.
Inspiration
I always wondered what affect a fisheye would have from a vantage point this high. I was hoping to get a curvature of the horizon affect and was right,
Editing
Very little, just brought up the saturation a bit.
In my camera bag
Nikon full frame DSLR, Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8, Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8, Nikon 16mm f/2.8 fisheye.
Feedback
Shoot later in the day to avoid the harsh light and to get some shadows. Place your lens as close as possible to the window to minimize any reflections.
