I used natural outdoor lighting.Equipment
I converted my Nikon to an infrared camera.Inspiration
When shooting infrared, I look for places that have a lot of greenery and I wait for a time when there are big puffy clouds to add to the drama. My favorite season to shoot is in the spring because the small leaves on the trees don't completely block out the structure of the trees.Editing
I used Photo-Matix to convert the color to sepia. In my camera bag
I always carry a SLIK tripod, lense paper, a digital Canon EOS, a Nikon converted to Infrared, a plastic Holga with film already loaded.Feedback
My tip is to find a place that lends itself well to infrared photography. If you can find a spot with trees , clouds and possiblly water would be ideal. With infrared, wait for a day when there are big puffy clouds to add drama to the image.
