Looks like a New Deal-era railroad bridge, like the Huey P. Long in New Orleans.

Behind The Lens

Location

We were out taking pictures of Dubuque. In Dubuque , Iowa.

Time

Around 12:00 P.M.

Lighting

Natural lighting

Equipment

I had my D5200 Nikon Camera with my Tripod.

Inspiration

I love the old train bridge here in Dubuque. It stands over the Mississippi River and though it is only a bridge it carries the train from ILL. to Iowa and has lot's of history. I look at it as a symbol of strength. I love the mental work and all the designs. I love how it gives a great depth of field over this 2 mile bridge.

Editing

I work with photo shop and I use the adjustments to give a enhanced color and enriched natural feel.

In my camera bag

I carry my Two lens 55 to 200 and 18 to 55. My 5200 Nikon and my Fujifilm 1800 series and my Tripod.

Feedback

I have taken many pictures of this bridge and my advice would be never give up. If one doesn't turn out try another. I have taken pictures of the bridge from every angle and in many different weathers. This is a winter photo and the lighting was so bright from the snow that a natural picture was perfect.
