Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best photos that show patterns and repetitions. This photo contest has a tricky theme that allows for creativity to go further than usual finding subjects, structures and reflective matter that creates patterns and repetition of the main subject. The final result is an image that seems to have visual effects adding depth and the wow effect.

A special thanks to all the photographers that helped us find the People's Choice by voting for their favorite shots and to friend & professional photographer Mark Rainer for his collaboration as a guest judge. Mark Rainer is an international award-winning photographer whose career spans four decades, and includes everything from human portraiture to marine mammal photography. Also a fine-art photographer, Rainer is known for his dramatic landscapes, nightscapes, and the night sky. His work can be found hanging in public, corporate and private collection.

Guest judge Mark Rainer "Thanks for having me judge this contest, overall great work"

Grand Jury Winner

"The composition and detail to the theme makes this a memorable photograph. Very well composed and beautifully processed for tones and details without going overboard. The repeating lines of physical objects as well as light and shadow make this a prime example of quality work. Those perfectly placed repeating lines lead the viewer to the counter point in color contrast that is the tree in bloom. Very well done." - Mark Rainer

Runner Up

"Beautifully composed, gorgeous light and just the right touch of post processing make this another great example of how photography is an art. I love finding patterns in nature and this is a fantastic example of Mother Nature doing her work and the photographer’s eye to see the beauty that is there and adding their artistic skills in a way that looks natural. Beautifully done." - Mark Rainer

Runner Up

"While this one could easily be overlooked because of its very basic composition and post processing it’s for these reasons that this photograph should be a runner up. Well thought out, processed minimally, subtle light make this a very strong photograph. Its knowing when to process heavily and minimally that is missing in a lot of photographs today.  Its great to see an example of subtle that allows the viewer to linger." - Mark Rainer

Runner Up

"I love the composition, I’m big on composition light/shadow, and post processing. This photograph uses all of these and placing the brightest element dead center is normally a composition killer, in this case its right on, for me. The post processing is stellar with the photographers use of tonality as a juxtaposition to the brightness. Well done." - Mark Rainer
