Standing in front of the spectacular reflection of Banner Peak in the waters of Thousand Island lake is breathtaking. I've been here many times but some days, the reflection is better than others. This day, my husband and I were a few days into a 23 day trek into the back country of the Sierra Nevada. For some reason, it took on special meaning this time.Editing
