We were visiting Bodie most of the day but this photo was taken mid-day.Lighting
The lighting is natural and the importance of the timing was the positions of the clouds overhead!Equipment

Bodie is one of my favorite spots to take photos. I love to play with perspective. This photo was all about the clouds overhead. I don't think I would like this photo as much with a clear sky.Editing
