I'm not quite sure how managed to pull this off.
Timing and patience, I guess.
No matter, It is outstanding in it's creativity and humor.
Once again, your talent as a photographer shines brightly, just as it does from all the other gems in your gallery.

This is great! Your dog obviously has a great sense of humor! Honestly though, I am impressed :)

Location
This was taken on my couch in the living room where Whisper (my 10 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback) was relaxing. I simply opened my book and rested her paw on the top and placed a pair of sunglasses on her face.Time
This was taken before 10 am so that the sun was not at it's harshest yet.Lighting
The sun was coming in through the south facing windows but she was not in the direct light.Equipment
I used my tripod to help my ISO stay as low as it could which is why the shutter speed was so slow. She's a good subject because I tried to have her in a natural position which would help her stay completely still.Inspiration
My inspiration was while I was participating in a 365 day project, the weekly theme was books. I combined my love for reading with my love for my pup.Editing
I brought this image into ACR and brought up the shadows a bit, I also toned down the highlights and cropped. In my camera bag
Since this was at home I attached my Nikon 105mm on my Nikon D800 and mounted them on my Manfrotto tripod for a steadier shot.Feedback
For me to get that eye contact, I usually have a treat in my left hand and try to get her attention by waving the treat towards the lens.
