"Fading" is a bit of misnomer here, my dear, because the beauty of your niece dissipates everything else in its glare. i think "emerging", "burgeoning" or "nascent" would be more fitting. But who cares? Whatever the editing done on it certainly merits the award. 10/10

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my backyard in the Fall

Time

it was taken in the early afternoon

Lighting

it was an overcast day so the lighting was perfect for natural portraiture shooting

Equipment

Nikon D800... 300 nikor lens... natural outdoor lighting

Inspiration

It was the first time working with my Model and we wanted to be natural , sensual and fun

Editing

yes , i edited in Raw then photoshop to add an overlay of leaves … this overlay I was from the fall series in Bellevue , I also played with gradients to combine the tones to make it work together

In my camera bag

I carry a fair bit of equipment with me , camera D800 , lenses of all sizes , shutter cable , filters, batteries, cleaning supplies, tri pod, monopod, macro pod

Feedback

if you are looking to do outdoor photography , I always aim to shoot on overcast days … the lighting is even , have fun with your model , keep the shoot simple and not too long , play with depth .. with focus, with light and pay attention to framing and composition .
