Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this at Picture Lake in the North Cascades of Washington state.

Time

I spent the day here with family and shot quite a few photos. I knew the moon was rising later so my brother and I left our camp around 9pm and went back to this spot. I shot this around 10pm on 7/27/18.

Lighting

I loved the way the hidden moon back lit Mt. Shuksan and the clouds.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D750, Tamron 24-70mm lens and tripod.

Inspiration

This is one of the most photographed mountains in the world and it's easy to see why! Very easy to be inspired here.

Editing

Editing in Lightroom.
