Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this at the famous Multnomah Falls near Portland, Oregon.

Time

I shot this at 12:36pm, April 28, 2018.

Lighting

I liked the lighting on the bridge at that time of day.

Equipment

What a time to forget the tripod! Luckily I was able to hold my camera (Nikon D750, Nikon 20mm lens) on a railing at the visitors area.

Inspiration

It's pretty easy to be inspired by Multnomah Falls. I grew up not far from the falls (Camas, Washington) but this is the first time I went there with the primary purpose to shoot it. A fire devastated the area last September (Eagle Creek fire) and the trail to the bridge was still closed to repair the fire damage. Usually there are plenty of people on that bridge.

Editing

Minimal processing in Lightroom.

Nikon D750, Nikon 20mm lens, Nikon 24-120mm lens, Tamron 24-70mm g2 lens.
