I held a flash in my hands and tripped the shutter with a wireless remote. I was just having a little fun.

Location
This image was captured while standing in the living room of our home, I was playing with the camera and the new Nikon flash gun..Time
EveningLighting
There is something to be said about serendipity. I had put my camera on a tripod and I was trying out a cord that I had purchased for the flash. So I put the flash in the palms of my hand ad tripped the camera using a remote. I am prone to making silly faces and the camera caught this one.Equipment
Camera: D800E by Nikon, Manfroto 055 Tripod, Nikon Flash.Inspiration
As explained above I was playing with new equipment that I had purchased and took a couple of selfies while making goofy faces.Editing
I just turned the original image into a Monochrome image using the Photoshop editor for B&W.In my camera bag
Nikon D800E, Nikon Lenses: 16mm Fisheye, 14-24 f/2.8, 24-70mm, 50mm f/1.8, 85mm f/1.8, 24-300mm, SIGMA 150-600. A large variety of filters, Pluto remote trigger, extra batteries, Manfroto Tripod.Feedback
Playing with your equipment and learning what it can do helps you in the day to day process of capturing images when the stakes are a little higher.
