Location
I took this photo at the University of Udine, Italy.Time
It was about 6 p.m.Lighting
The lighting was perfect because it created a wonderful shadows of the pillars on the ground, so it completed the marvellous set of lines and frames.Equipment
I used Canon 1100D with wide lens. No tripod.Inspiration
I was thinking about a photo like this from a while. I wanted to study composition basics and advanced rules, and I knew that was the perfect place to go. I waited for a person to walk and It was done! I had enough time to think before shooting because the corridor is very long. There are pretty much all the rules: perspective (it wins) and rule of the thirds, Fibonacci, framing, all! The photo speaks for itself I think.Editing
Well I just turned it in black and white and djusted the contrast. In my camera bag
It depends where I must go and what I must do. I usually have two and more batteries to feel safe. In my bag i take the 18-55mm kit (yeah!) and the 70-300mm. Also the Canon 24-70 2.8, terrific!Feedback
Street photography is difficult. One has to wait a lot, and to pay attention more to the background than to the subject, sometimes. I try to imagine the photo I would like and only when I have clear that idea, I go to shoot, with a lot of patience. This image in particular: I imagined it a lot before going to shoot. Think before, then shoot.
