Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my town. There is a big concrete park where young people meet and go to skate.

Time

I took this picture at afternoon. I went there to make some street photography and I saw that boy walking from quite far distance.

Lighting

The lighting was quite white because it rained that day. I don't like that type of light very much but it was quite good for this kind of photo.

Equipment

Canon 1100D, Tamron 70-300, no tripod.

Inspiration

The geometry, definitely.

Editing

I converted it in black and white and corrected the contrasts.

In my camera bag

It depends where I must go and what I must do. I usually have two and more batteries to feel safe. In my bag i take the 18-55mm kit (yeah!) and the 70-300mm. Also the Canon 24-70 2.8, terrific!

Feedback

Street photography is difficult. One has to wait a lot, and to pay attention more to the background than to the subject, sometimes. I try to imagine the photo I would like and only when I have clear that idea, I go to shoot, with a lot of patience.
