Thank you for your kind words. That was my late wife's favorite picture. She was assaulted by countless choices.

40-150 zoom on a tripod. Closed down the arpeture and slowed the shutter to give the effect of motion to the water.Inspiration
Part of a photography class field trip.Editing
There are a number of Seims black and white effects. I experimented with many until I used a Infrared effect. I also pasted the image into a frame using Photoshop. The frame was textured in Photoshop as well.In my camera bag
I use Olympus equipment. Currently I carry an OMD E-M1 and the 12-40 f2.8 pro and a 40-150 f2.8 pro and a 75mm f1.8 prime lens. Extra batteries, memory chips, cables, and my iPad. The iPad serves as a remote. It also can be used to watch long exposures develop on the screen using live view. I almost always have a tripod handy although I don't use it enough. I'm lazy about setting it up.Feedback
Most waterfall pictures that I see have too long an exposure. The water looks fake like a giant bubble bath. It is becoming trite like red sunsets.
