Behind The Lens
Location
At the models home in Warwickshire. She had a living room that was almost entirely white and worked rather like a huge softbox.Time
It was taken at around lunchtime 12:00GMTLighting
It was all natural light reflected off white walls and ceiling and even a white carpetEquipment
Canon 450D with a 50mm lens - no reflector or tripod requiredInspiration
The model wanted some outdoor shots and as we walked back through the house I commented on what lovely white walls she had. So we just paused for a minute and took a few shots against the wall.Editing
Not much post processing was required - skin tidying as always and then converting to black and white with a little tweak to the contrast. In my camera bag
Canon 450D and two lenses, 18-55mm and my favourite F/1.8 50mm lens. I usually carry a small reflector too and some business cards (or post-it notes with my details written on)Feedback
Keep life simple, angle your model and watch the light, that's the key...!
