Location
This photo was taken at our small ranch.Time
Early, just after the sun rose, but the colors were still warm in tone.Lighting
Totally natural lighting!Equipment
Taken with an aged Nikon D3000 with an inexpensive 55-300mm lens handheld at ground level. Yes I did get quite wet, having to lay in the dewy grass!Inspiration
This one lone mushroom stood among the grass..it was begging to be photographed. I'm glad I did.Editing
The shot was cropped, the warm tones enhanced in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Always carry a crop sensor camera..currently the Nikon D7100 with various prime lenses and one zoom. I shoot a lot of animals and portraiture and like to get in tight.Feedback
Look around, your next photo could be at your feet! Don't be afraid to shoot the most mundane of subjects. Try different angles on your subject, you might just get a terrific photo.
