Personallly, With the face that bright it tends to stop ones eye from going around the image. I would prefere everything within the same kind of brightness. Interesting shot though.

Location
A small studio I set up in a sign shop. It was maybe 10 foot by 10 foot.Time
Afternoon.Lighting
Taken with 2 hard light LEDs, constant.Equipment
Nikon 7100 handheld, no tripod, no flash.Inspiration
The Preacher is an interesting gentleman. During Easter week he carries a cross some 180 miles along the highway. Always entertaining, he has a quick wit. He's also a musician with a few CDs under his belt. I caught this shot as he was pondering a question I had asked him, deep in thought.Editing
The color version wasn't quite as interesting as black and white, so I switched it. It better highlighted his advancing years. In my camera bag
Nikon 750, a flash, and an old 18-300, maybe a portrait lens. I travel light after so many years. :)Feedback
Wait. Patience really is a virtue..catch your subject in the off moments...the face has so many fleeting moments of expression.
