Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in the rain forest El Yunque, Puerto Rico.

Time

The shot was done early in the morning, around 8:00a.m.

Lighting

Natural light was used in the photograph, I usually wait for clouds to block the sunlight.

Equipment

I used a Canon 5d mark iii and a Canon 16-35mm f/4 lens. The tripod was a Manfrotto.

Inspiration

I get inspired to photgraph landscape by nature's beauty.

Editing

For PP I recovered some shadows, I added a little bit of vibrance and applied sharpening to the photo.

In my camera bag

In my bag a carry cleaning tissues and some LEE filters.

Feedback

For waterfalls I recommend to photograph them early in the morning, and use a polarizer filter to eliminate the highlights.
