Thank you! I was actually taking shots of lavender fields when I spotted this little log cabin glowing in the setting sun.

An absolutely breath-taking shot! I really like your perspective of the field, house and background. Very beautiful!

Location
This photo was taken in Sequim, Washington that is situated on the north part of the pennisula.Time
I was driving around Sequim the day before the Lavender festival was to begin. I was hoping to get a few nice shots of the lavender fields but never found a composition or lighting that would satisfy me. I saw this little log cabin on my drive and about an hour before sunset got this shot in the nick of time. The golden light quickly changed to a dull gray as the clouds moved in.Lighting
I used the natural light provided by the sun.Equipment
I had my old Nikon D5100 and used my Nikon 24-70mm/f2.8 lens. I shot ISO 100, 1/80 sec, f13 hand held.Inspiration
I saw the perfect opportunity to use the beautiful golden glow of the sun in this golden field of unmown grass and the small cabin and fence sealed the deal.Editing
I used Lightroom to warm the picture a bit more.In my camera bag
I carry a Nikon D750, flash with reflector, extra batteries, 24-70mm/f2.8, 70-200mm/f4, and 85mm/f1.4 lens with me. My van always has my tripod, stand and strobe light with a large dome softbox.Feedback
Try to scope out a landscape or scene prior to shooting and be aware of the sun's position from morning to evening.
