Hey Mellane. This is in Lebanon (Middle East). I replied earlier to PhotosbyJLR in October, but apparently the reply was in the Inbox, it didn't come here. So this time I made sure to put my reply on the photo's comments.

where did you shoot this. I feel it's important to share locations, especially for those of us who travel frequently. Photos like yours could help us determine new locations to visit

It was forecast that day to be rainy, so I went to benefit from the absence of Sun, because i have gone the previous day and it was a sunny day, strong shadows, half of the view was lit and the other dark, even HDR was not pleasing for my taste. So on the day I took the photo the grey clouds served me big time.Equipment

This is a cliche, I am not the first 1 to make such idea, but on the other hand, it is a must to be in my portfolio. The moment I found this place, I called upon my nephew and told him to put on his red t-shirt and come with me. Of course I chose my preferred composition in the place.Editing
There was a group of 4 persons on the very right side of the frame, I cloned them out from another photo I took when they moved away. Enhancing the colors (levels, saturation)In my camera bag

The basic advice: Try to scout the location for best lighting
