I took this photo of my brother in front of our home on the lake during the Christmas holidays. We had family and friends to stay for the week and everyone was enjoying some very cold weather.Time
This photo was taken on a cold morning (about -15c) just after breakfast with the sun rising over the lake. We had always heard about the "boiling water freezes in the air at -10 trick", but hadn't yet tried it.Lighting
It was early morning with the sun just breaking so naturally provided a great sillouhette.Equipment
I only had my iPhone 6s handy but if I knew it was going to Be such a great shot, I would have used my canonInspiration
Having family and friends gathered at the holidays always puts us all in such fun and creative moods, we just wanted to have some fun out of the ordinaryEditing
I just used the Apple photo app to adjust the saturationIn my camera bag
My usual equipment is a Cannon 700dFeedback
