Taken around 9:30 in the morning after an early rise and unsuccessful sunrise shoot about 20 miles to the north.
This is where I first camped on my Fall trip to the Eastern Sierra’s in Oct of 2014. This is just above the Mammoth Sky Resort.
Just slightly left from center there is a bridge and beyond that is the other twin lake.
The Fall colors at this elevation were just starting to move past their peak.

Out of your two entries for Enchanted Waterscapes, this one is my favorite so vote for it.

Thank you, I was coming back to my campsite and this is right off the road. The clouds were great and the sun was in the right spot! :)

What a sight it must have been to see in person! It's very refreshing to see an "HDR" that is not over cooked, well done. Congrats on your latest finalist award, good luck!
