I took this picture on our first day in Puerto Princessa, Philippines. During low tide, local fisherman followed the water and collected some clams and crabs. I talked to some fisherman and they told me, catching crabs and clams become more difficult because the numbers went down in last few years.

What makes the picture so special for me, is the sheer endless sandbank combined with the background. Especially the faint silhouette of the mountain gives the picture depth and structure.
