Mia was eleven weeks old when this picture was taken. Thirteen years later we know what a lifetime of dog love is. She is our heart, our family and now a gray faced dog nearing the end of her journey. Over two years ago we were told she just had weeks to live. So far she has beaten the odds and has a good quality of life. Our miracle and blessing has been more time with her.
